Latest Revival, a very cool e-commerce site that sells designer and estate jewelry, is celebrating its first anniversary with a special capsule collection available now. Well-known contemporary jewelry labels Deborah Pagani, Delfina Delettrez, Monique Pean, Eddie Borgo, Lulu Frost, Maiyet, Jennifer Fisher and Pamela Love have each designed exclusive pieces for the site that range in price from $355 to north of $10,000. I’m rather partial to the Jennifer Fisher cuff pictured above and Deborah Pagani ring pictured just below, but I wouldn’t say no to any of the pieces. Check out the full offering here.
Day 7 of New York Fashion Week has come and gone and the same styles do seem to be popping up time and again. Gold was found at Timo Weiland, Badgley Mischka, and Sass & Bide, while Rodarte had an interesting look with big chains and padlocks at their L.A.-inspired show.
White florals were the name of the game at Tory Burch and Jenny Packham (who also had quite a bit of pearl detailing on the clothing). Speaking of pearls, Oscar de la Renta did show some piled on strands, but the really fun stuff was the rich color combos. A peach dress with turquoise earrings, a turquoise dress with orange earrings…lovely. Another very feminine designer, Naeem Khan, went a much edgier route courtesy of Pamela Love in an interesting juxtaposition.
And finally, Elie Tahari bucked the trends with the help of Erickson Beamon by showing some lovely structural silver cuffs (and black ones too).
Day 4 of New York Fashion Week was light on jewelry. Prabal Gurung, with his futuristic pieces by Chris Habana, was the most interesting jewelry of the day by far. The ‘razor’ ear cuffs and armor-like rings were color-matched to the rainbow of clothing he showed.
Otherwise, there were brass spirals by Philip Crangi at Altuzarra and brass and black at Mara Hoffman (supplied by bestie Pamela Love), gunmetal, gold and black combined at Kenneth Cole, and a shimmering whisper of gold at Jen Kao.
Day 3 of New York Fashion Week brought out lots of gold! MANIAMANIA supplied bold black crystals mixed with gold hardware at Zimmermann and Kate Spade also opted for high contrast color combos, while Chadwick Bell paired his creations with very architectural Anndra Neen pieces and tons of stacked rings. A Détacher kept it simple with a single statement collar and Jenni Kayne layered more delicate charms.
Pearls and crystals together also made an appearance, with Rachel Roy’s modern ear cuffs and a more bohemian look at Nicole Miller where the crystals appeared taken straight off a chandelier. Also looking very boho was the Rebecca Minkoff runway where models were piled high with silver and brass. In the silver category, Cushnie et Ochs opted for an armor-like silver collar from Pamela Love.
