Latest Revival, a very cool e-commerce site that sells designer and estate jewelry, is celebrating its first anniversary with a special capsule collection available now. Well-known contemporary jewelry labels Deborah Pagani, Delfina Delettrez, Monique Pean, Eddie Borgo, Lulu Frost, Maiyet, Jennifer Fisher and Pamela Love have each designed exclusive pieces for the site that range in price from $355 to north of $10,000. I’m rather partial to the Jennifer Fisher cuff pictured above and Deborah Pagani ring pictured just below, but I wouldn’t say no to any of the pieces. Check out the full offering here.
Looking into the unknown way up in the sky was the beginning of Delfina Delettrez’s latest collection. The end result is the ‘Magic Triangle’ collection for Fall 2013 and it focuses on 3-prong settings, as well as updates to some of her signature pieces. The surrealist video by filmmaker Daniel Sannwald shows why the jewelry designer was a good fit for Kenzo’s fall 2013 runway presentation in Paris as it also had surreal elements. Check out the accompanying film at the end of the post.
Day 6 of Paris Fashion Week continued to show a big mix of jewelry. Silver was seen at Céline, Maxime Simoëns, and Givenchy. Céline sent out some beautifully simple and sculptural collars and cuffs, mostly in silver and a bit of gold. Maxime Simoëns showed some cool space-age looking necklaces and cuffs that also came in black. Keeping it simple at Givenchy, the one piece on the runway was a heavy chain bracelet with a large medallion charm dangling from it.
Team Gold was represented by Kenzo, Chloé and Rabi Kayrouz with a wide variety of styles. Delfina Delettrez designed the jewelry at Kenzo and it was ribbons of gold and evil eyes that matched some of the prints. It was a simple upper ear cuff at Chloé, along with mix and match multiple gold rings and at Rabi Kayrouz it was big and bold gold cuffs.
Additionally, John Galliano showed more ‘blink and you miss them’ black cuffs on top black leather gloves (like at Gucci) and Andrew Gn mixed up the previously many times seen black leather cuff by showing them with his gowns.
