J. Crew has long done very stylish jewelry collaborations, most recently with Lulu Frost and Jennifer Meyer, but they are stepping things up by entering the fine jewelry market. The store has introduced the 18k gold signet rings of designer Jessica Biales to the lineup. The ‘Candy’ signet ring with emeralds (US$3,025) adds some whimsy to a classic style and the ‘Block’ signet (US$2,025) adds weight to any look.
If you aren’t familiar with One Kings Lane, it’s an online retailer of dreamy housewares, both new and vintage, offered mostly in 72 hour sales. They have expanded to include jewelry so if you are into artisanal and vintage pieces, be sure to check it out. The first vintage sale starts tomorrow, featuring pieces from Yves Saint Laurent, Nina Ricci and Lanvin.
Nordstrom, a long-time supporter of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, will open seven pop-up shops showcasing the 10 finalists work, including selected pieces by jewelers Jennifer Meyer and Jennifer Fisher. Stores in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, Chicago and Dallas, as well as the Nordstrom concept-store treasure&bond in Manhattan, will carry the designers pieces beginning Monday (February 11), but they will only be open as long as there is merchandise, so hurry in if you want some.
Just launched, Editorialist is an editorial/e-commerce site that focuses on luxury accessories and high-quality customer service. The site ships internationally.
